Lauren and Matthew had an ultra fancy wedding at the newly renovated Petroleum Club in downtown Houston! Lauren wanted something unique and elegant to set the down for their event, and I think these invitations really captured that perfectly.
This invitation suite was all about contrast. When stacked, pops of gold and black, along with a fun die cut oval shape, made the invitation visually interesting. The outer band was a rich black paper with metallic gold foiling. The ceremony invitation was metallic gold foiled and black letterpressed, with metallic gold deckled edges. The reception card was rich black paper, die cut in an oval shape, with white screen printing. The reply and information cards were flat black on white paper, with a metallic gold RSVP envelope for extra pop!
The same look and shapes continued into the paper items used on the day of the wedding. The programs featured the same black oval shape and gold thermography on white paper. The escort cards featured icons for the dinner choices, and the menus had metallic gold backer cards to pack extra punch.
Lauren and Matthew were amazing to work with and I just loved this unique suite!
