Laurissa and Matthew had a beautiful spring wedding, and requested an underlying theme of "love birds" to be used on their stationery products. I had a great time designing around this theme, and I think the end result was a cohesive design from the moment guests received the invitation all the way through the day of the wedding.
The invitation consisted of several cards printed on luxe, ivory shimmer paper. I used a fun handmade, light blue paper with metallic copper dots as a band to hold all of the items together in the envelope. The branches, cages, and birds were used on all pieces to create visual consistency from card to card.
Laurissa's parents also chose to renew their own vows the same day, so we included a little card inviting close family members to join in that celebration prior to Laurissa and Matthew's ceremony!
I continued the design of love birds into the items for the day of the wedding. The programs were four individual cards tied together with ribbon. The bridal party may or may not have been represented by little birds on a branch! The menus wrapped around the napkins placed at each setting. I particularly like the little bird perched on the 'M'!
Thank you, Laurissa and Matthew for inviting me to be a part of your special day.
